MESSAGE FROM MRS. HOLT
Dear Parents,

The Word of God tells us to give thanks in all circumstances. And, we are praising the Lord for students who can run and play outside for recess on a gorgeous day then come in and enjoy our lunchroom at Eden!

Here are a few details about our lunch procedures I'd like to share with you.

  • Just before lunch, students sanitize their hands with either a product we provide or what they've brought to school with them.
  • Tables and chairs have been spaced to provide for as much social distancing as possible.
  • Our self-serve water jug has been replaced with pre-poured cups of water. It would be a tremendous help if you include a water bottle in your child’s lunch.
  • All our food vendors have prepared individually packaged or wrapped lunches.
  • To reduce movement, students stay seated and raise their hand when a need arises and lunch monitors come to them to help meet their needs
  • Extra cleaning measures are being implemented by both Eden and North Way Church, as our lunchroom is a shared space in the after-school hours.

Last week, students chose their seats in the lunchroom and they were made aware that they can have that seat for the remainder of the first quarter. We want them to feel at peace coming into the lunchroom knowing they don't have to hurry to their seats to make sure they can sit near who they want.

  • Keeping students in the same seats at lunch keeps us organized and efficient and lowers student stress levels about finding a seat!
  • It helps our staff as they build relationships, get to know new students more readily, and it aids us in quickly spotting when someone is absent.
  • In addition, if the need arises, we will can identify which students sat together during lunch.

We are grateful for your support as we remain as vigilant as possible to keep our students safe and healthy.

Thank you for all the support and extra grace you’ve shown as we partner to provide the highest quality Christian education to your children

Each day your child is greeted by our loving staff and cared for by educators who are putting the Lord first in all they do

ECA IPAD REMINDER

IPad cases, technology fees, and your signed technology agreement form are due before your child will have use of an iPad in the classroom.

Please contact the school office if you have any questions.
CARPOOL DROP-OFF & PICK-UP

  • Students may be dropped off beginning at 8:00 am

Thank you so much for staying in your vehicles in the morning. Students have done a terrific job walking down the sidewalk by themselves this year!

  • Please note school begins at 8:30. When students are at school by 8:20, they have time to get to class, get unpacked, and settled for the day.

  • To help afternoon carpool go as smoothly as possible, please allow your children to get in on the driver's side of the vehicle. This is especially helpful during inclement weather.

  • New Eden families, don’t forget to display your family name card on your dashboard before pulling in the carpool lane. If you need a new name card, we'd be happy to reprint one for you.
ENTRY TO SCHOOL OFFICE

This year, North Way Wexford has a new key-card electronic entry system.

If you need to stop in to the Wexford school office you will first need to call and one of our staff will meet you at the glass doors.

For health and safety, you will be screened (temperature check) before entry and should come prepared with your choice of face covering as is required for anyone on campus.
