CHANGE IN YOUR DAILY ROUTINE?

THANK YOU, MR. SCHULTZ
Middle School

Mr. Kirby Schultz was gracious enough to step out of retirement to serve as a short-term substitute until we were able to hire a full-time ELA teacher. Mr. Schultz has been a positive influence and a great role model to both our students and staff alike, and he has left an indelible mark here at Holy Family.
WELCOME MS. GLANTZ
Middle School

Ms. Amy Glantz has joined the Holy Family team as our new Middle School ELA teacher. She has spent the past few days collaborating with Mr. Schultz and we are confident that Ms. Glantz will be a wonderful addition to the Holy Family middle school. Welcome, Ms. Glantz!

SCHOOL PICTURE RETAKE DAY
Tuesday, October 5 from 8 AM-noon

It’s Box Tops for Education time again! Now that the school year has started, we’d love to collect the Box Tops you’ve been saving at home. Please send them to school so they can be mailed in and redeemed before the next expiration date of November 1, 2021. You may have noticed fewer products carrying the actual Box Top. The company is gradually moving toward using an app and will soon stop printing Box Tops on packages.
You can find this app in the App Store, and it is available for iPhones and Android free of charge. Once you download it, you’ll be able to find our school and start earning credit for your purchases immediately by scanning your receipt. If you have been shopping virtually using online grocery services, the app can accept emailed receipts. We have volunteers available to scan receipts if you'd like to send yours to school in a sealed envelope. Remember that Box Tops is the biggest (and easiest!) HASA fundraiser and all money earned is returned DIRECTLY to Holy Family School through experiences and activities for students as well as teacher appreciation gifts and luncheons. Please encourage family and friends to download the app! Last year we earned over $1000! Thank you for supporting Holy Family School!

Gather together at St. Agnes Church to pray the Liturgy of the Hours on Monday mornings after drop off and Fridays before dismissal. Please enter Church through Door # 4

What is Liturgy of the Hours?  This prayer is also known as the Divine Office. It is a beautiful tradition in the Church and highly encouraged for all! Since there are prayers for different times of the day, it is beautiful to consider how many others are praying the same prayers, at the same time, joining together for a relationship with God and one another. Also, it is a wonder to consider that these are the prayers that Jesus Himself prayed.

Connect with other Holy Family parents and community members. Click here for more information. Contact Holy Family parent Jennifer Poehlmann with questions.
SITE ADVISORY COMMITTEE UPDATE
Fall Fundraiser
Information about the Hansen/Cherrydale Fundraiser will be sent home with your student tomorrow. The sale is sponsored by the Site Advisory Committee and proceeds go toward meeting our TSF goal. Questions can be directed to Heather Phillips.

Calendar Raffle This is a GRACE-wide fundraiser and proceeds will be prorated (based on sales) and given back to each school. The proceeds will help Holy Family to fulfill our TSF fundraising requirements.

How can you help?

  1. Sell 5 tickets at $20 per ticket (Send the stubs and funds to school in a sealed envelope)
  2. If you can’t sell all 5, that is okay. Please send unsold raffle tickets back to school and we will redistribute them.
  3. Want to sell more? Contact Heather Phillips at 920-360-3943.

Our goal is to sell 500+ tickets for Holy Family.

VOLUNTEERING AT HOLY FAMILY
Every adult who volunteers at Holy Family is required to have a current background check on file, complete a VIRTUS training course, and sign a volunteer agreement each year. Volunteer requirements are mandated by the Diocese of Green Bay, and there are no exceptions. We strongly encourage everyone to go through the process because volunteer opportunities will come up and your name must be on our approved list prior to the event, whether it's chaperoning a field trip, selling Scrip, or helping in your child's classroom.

  • BACKGROUND CHECK Volunteers are required to provide personal references, sign a declaration form, and authorize a criminal background check (and receive a satisfactory report) Click here to complete the background check. Enter code: gbdioc04

  • All volunteers who have contact with children are required to complete VIRTUS Protecting God's Children training. Register here. The Green Bay Diocese is currently not offering in-person training, so all training is online.

Please make sure to complete and submit the contract required for BASIC key fobs. This will expedite the drop-off and pick-up process for you.
