Join us this Sunday @ 10 AM
We are planning a time in the service on September 26 to celebrate God's faithfulness over the years at MBC in three key areas. We are looking for a few pictures of the construction of our new building, the bus ministry (children and youth ministries) and the construction of the retraining wall at the old church. If you have pictures to share, please drop them off to Pastor Jason by September 21st. Please put your name on the back of each picture so they can be returned to you. Thank You!

This past February our Leadership Team introduced a proposed Name Change, Bridge Church, and a new Constitution and Leadership Structure. It was decided to hold off on a vote until fall, once our people were vaccinated for COVID-19 allowing for greater participation in this important decision.

As a result we are holding round table discussion groups, a vision Sunday and a vote in September. Please mark your calendars.

Round Table Discussion

September 21st @ 7 PM - 8:30 PM

PLEASE NOTE we will not be having a morning session on September 22nd.

TOPIC:

A Church Name Change: Bridge Church & Governance Structure

Our Leadership and Administration Team has revised the proposal for Covenant Partners (By-Law 1, updated September 14, 2021). Copies will be available at the welcome desk this coming Sunday morning, September 19th. If you would like a copy emailed to you please let Pastor Jason know. We will take a few minutes to discuss the change on September 21st at our round table discussion before moving into our discussion around the new name and governance structure.

Vision Sunday with Rev. Kevin Vincent: September 26 @ 10 AM - 12:15. If you have a question about any of the proposed changes, Pastor Jason, Pastor Derek and Pastor Kevin will be discussing key ideas based on the questions asked. Please write down your question and place it in the question box located in the church lobby no later than noon on September 21st.

Congregational Vote: September 30th @ 7 PM.

For more information please speak to Pastor Jason or Pastor Derek.
Lola, Kathy and Meda would like to express thanks to all who assisted to make the yard sale of last weekend such a success. Your cooperation was much appreciated.

We have raised $8,466.67 in total for the roof repairs over the last few months.

Thank You for your faithful giving.
New Brunswick is now facing its fourth wave of increased Covid-19 cases. Therefore, beginning on Sunday, September 5th masks will be required at all times inside the building for those who are not fully vaccinated. Children under the age of 12 are not required to wear a mask at this time.

We encourage everyone to sanitize your hands as you enter the building.

Disposable masks and hand sanitizer is available in the lobby for your convenience.

Everyone is encouraged to book an appointment for your first and second vaccine as soon as possible. We all have a part to play in keeping our church family and the community around us healthy and safe.

PLEASE NOTE: The provincial government has mandated that visitors to the daycare must now wear a mask during operational hours in common areas (lobby & washrooms). If you are at the church during this time please wear your mask.

Thank you for your cooperation. We truly appreciate it.
