September 11, 2001, is a day forever etched in most of our memories. Some of us lost friends and loved ones, others were among the courageous first responders that were on site for days, weeks and months. More among us were members of our military that were deployed to defend our country in response to this atrocious attack. It shook us all to our core and we responded as an indivisible nation.

In the aftermath of September 11, the citizens of our country came together to support and strengthen each other. Love for our country united us and in that we found love and compassion for each other.

Today, as we remember and honor those that were lost in the September 11 attacks and the ensuing war, we thank our first responders and veterans, especially those members of our Easterseals family. Let us also bring forward the love and compassion we have for each other as we move forward as a strong, united Easterseals.

On September 9, 2021, we held our annual golf tournament despite the weather! Our hearty group of generous golfers played on with smiles at this historic club. Our Easterseals was able to raise over $210,000 in gross revenue and we are grateful to our generous sponsors—thank you!

A major event like this is only successful with a team. We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the dedicated Golf Committee and to the amazing Volunteer Crew—many of whom worked in driving rain for an entire day to ensure a successful event.

Teamwork makes the dream work! We thank you!
