BRIEF WORSHIP TECH TRAINING – ALL ARE WELCOME!

Join us tonight in the sanctuary at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday for a brief orientation/training for all Confirmation age and above CLLC members who are interested in learning about and assisting with our audio/video needs for Sunday and Tuesday worship services, as well as special events like weddings, funerals, and concerts here at CLLC. This meeting will last no longer than an hour and offers everyone a chance to enhance our worship and community experiences here at Chisago Lake Lutheran through engaging media.

53 Chisago Lake Lutheran Church members participated in a “KEEP/STOP/START” Initiative on April 17th to evaluate and prioritize various aspects of our ministry and mission. By determining which practices should be continued, discontinued, or initiated anew, we can ensure that our efforts are aligned with our mission and meet the needs of our members and community effectively. We are grateful for all who were able to participate and share their feedback that Sunday. While the initial session was intended to cast a “wide net” for feedback on all aspects of our mission, ministry and life together as a congregation, subsequent gatherings like this one are intended to offer a more focused look at particular areas of ministry here at Chisago Lake and how we can best steward our resources and improve our ministry efforts in these areas. For that reason, as a follow-up to the session on April 17^th, our focus today is: Christian Education, specifically divided along the lines of Children’s, youth, young adult, and adult ministries. There will be no adult forum today as all are invited to be part of this 50-minute session in the Fellowship Hall! 😊

On October 1^st, from 10am-12pm, at Trinity Lutheran in Lindstrom.



Rev. Dr. Hank French, a retired Lutheran pastor and professor,

will lead a study on the topic of Christian Nationalism,

an extreme movement trying to reshape American political,

economic, and civic life by fusing them

with a particular type of “Christian identity.” 

·        We will explore the beliefs, goals, ideological commitments, and strategies of Christian Nationalism

·        We will consider many biblical texts that provide a faith-centered vision of the role of Christianity in the modern world that runs counter to Christian Nationalism.

There will be a light lunch following the event and a free-will offering is encouraged.

Music at CLLC!

Come join us for fun, fellowship, and making music in two CLLC choir groups this fall! 

We’ll be having both a Chime Choir & Adult Vocal Choir this fall. 

You can participate in one or both. We’re planning to have each choir meet every other week (alternating). Each choir will prepare to perform music in an upcoming worship service (maybe around Advent or Christmas).

If interested (or just curious) please attend a brief meeting immediately following worship on Sunday, September 29^th.

Chisago Lake Lutheran Celebrating 170 Years

On May 12, 1854, the Swedish Evangelical Lutheran Congregation of Chisago Lake was officially organized at a congregation meeting presided over by The Reverend Erland Carlsson of Chicago as he traveled through the area.

This congregation is now known to you as Chisago Lake Lutheran Church! We recall and honor how this congregation began with the dreams of those stepping out in faith to a new and different life and place. They brought with them their faith and love of Christ binding them together as a community and spreading message and ministry of Jesus. 

We remember their steadfastness and faith as we step forward in sharing the ministry and faith here at Chisago Lake Lutheran church.
