Dear Parents,

Here comes fall but according to the weather lately, you would never know it. Thank you for attending the Parish Festival. We had a great turn out and it was a beautiful day.

All parents and grandparents who want to go on field trips, volunteer in the classroom, participate in Trunk or Treat, etc. MUST sign up for the required Archdiocese Safe Environment class offered here on Thursday, October 3. Please understand the importance of keeping all kids, parents and staff safe. We must keep safety a number one priority in our school for the sake of everyone. Please see the information below on how to sign up and register for the class. We too, have extensive training in keeping our school safe so please do your part in helping us help our kids.

We have decided to have our 3^rd annual St. Matthew Marketplace on Saturday, November 30 from 8-1pm. Are you a crafter? Or a shopper? Or a doe on the go? This is for you! If you want to have a booth to sell your homemade goods, please send us an email to reserve your spot. And spread the word to your friends and neighbors. More information will be coming soon.

Our school Halloween parties will be on Friday, October 25 with Trunk or Treat to follow from 4:30pm – 6pm. Mark your calendars!

IMPORTANT NEWS!

All parents and volunteers working with minors in our

archdiocese are required to meet three requirements:

1-Attend a Safe Environment Education Session. This is a child abuse and maltreatment prevention program that must be attended in person. You only need to take this class once.

2-Pass a Criminal Background Check. This check is done before any volunteering with minors and must be done every five (5) years.

3-Sign the Code of Ethical Standards. This code must be signed prior to beginning volunteering in a parish or school and is reviewed every five (5) years subsequently.
