Alumni News

Melanie Boshens (BS in Chemistry, 2002) I have a new job: Chemist Supervisor.
Adam Daly (PhD in Chemistry, 2010)  I did a postdoc in the laboratory of José Luis Alonso in Valladolid, Spain. While there, I met and married Maravillas. Now I am back at the UA teaching in the innovative chemical thinking curriculum. Maravillas and I recently welcomed our first son into our home!
Christian Hernandez (BS in Biochemistry & BS in MCB, 2017)  I am working as a tutor and instructor with the Upward Bound program at Pima Community College. We help 1st generation high school students prepare for college along and provide many activities that benefit the students.
Alan Moghaddam (BS in Biochemistry & Molecular Biophysics, 2011) I defended my dissertation last fall, and now I am working as a contractor for Thermo Fisher in Eugene, OR. 
Elizabeth Nguyen (BS in Chemistry, 2015) I left my job as a QC Technician at Albemarle Corporation in Pasadena, TX to pursue a research position at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center in Seattle, WA.
Gary Proksch (BS in Chemistry, 1965) Sold my company Creative Laboratory Products, Inc. in Indiana and reopened in 2016 in Tucson as Creative Laboratory Partners, Inc.
