Fresh Arts' Cultured Cocktails beneficiary program is a community building fundraiser in celebration of the arts and takes place EVERY Thursday during the 5:00-8:00 PM happy hour at Boheme Café & Wine Bar.
Each Cultured Cocktails event features a different local artist, arts organization, or arts project.
The featured organization receives 10% of all drink sales within the 5:00-8:00PM time frame.

Retablos 31: CALL FOR ARTISTS!

MECA is pleased to announce Retablos31 - an annual silent auction fundraiser and exhibition of retablos celebrating the tradition of devotional painting, presented in collaboration with Lawndale Art Center. For this exhibition MECA invites artists from the Houston community to create original works of art following the tradition of devotional retablo making.

HAA - Festival Grant

The Festival Grant program provides support of up to $10k to fund art festivals or art components of cultural festivals.
Festivals are defined as a special events that are periodic (often annual) occur within a limited period of time, feature varied and curated programs, and have a unifying theme or special focus. Activities are inclusive and accessible for all.
Festivals can present various performing, visual and folk arts or could be specific to a particular artistic discipline.
Collaborative efforts leveraging the strength and knowledge of multiple organizations and maximizing the potential audience are highly encouraged.
