A message from the President & Founder, Lauren Genkinger
This is the time of year I normally ask you to think about volunteering for AGA; these past months are when we are busiest. Summer is when people take off for vacations and unfortunately leave the family dog behind and now we're playing catch up. All shelters in GA are full and overflowing, as are all the shelters in the states next to GA. We need you to volunteer your time and help us. We are in need of foster homes for dogs who have not yet found their new families and we always need dog walkers at Pet Lodge so we can give dogs who are still patiently waiting their exercise. If you prefer to volunteer from home we have lots of jobs you can help us with, click here to see all the areas you can get involved in. Please think about it.
We rely solely on our volunteers everyday to find the perfect homes for our dogs and to make sure they receive the care they need before they go to their new homes. We also need help for our events we hold to raise money because caring for abandoned dogs is very costly. We need you and we will find a job for you. We pay nothing but you do get a lot of dog kisses and the gratefulness in our dog's eyes will melt your heart. That in itself is what Mastercard would call priceless.
Please think and think again about pitching in your time for us. If you can't give time please Donate here to our cause.
