WORD FROM THE PRESIDENT

It's hard to believe but this year is more than half way finished! We have always been a chapter that celebrates much success, and with that I am looking forward to driving the organization forward by enhancing our tools and resources for long term sustainability. As a chapter, we are currently in the process of updating our chapter by-laws, applying for status as a 501(c) 3 organization . We have had great attendance, engagement, and visibility in partnering with other organizations such as SMPS, for our monthly programming, and first class technical tours. A huge thank you to Toyota, BNSF, Trinity Metro, and DFW Airport for helping us to consistently plan and deliver successful events.

This Fall will be filled with activity including our monthly luncheons, professional development workshop, corporate membership campaign, golf tournament and clinic (Oct. 1), as well as, upcoming STEM, UTA Student Chapter and Transportation YOU activities. We are always looking for more members to get involved with chapter initiatives. Please let me know if you are interested in getting involved by sending an email message to adrienne.williams@plcjv.com. Thank you to all of our volunteers and partners who help us grow our organization and amplify the impact we have in the community.
