September News
Hello Newcomers & Neighbors of the Andovers!
Welcome back to another great year with the club, it's crazy that another summer has quickly come to an end! Whether you are a new member or a returning family, we hope to see you out and about this fall at our kick-off events! Our group organizers are busy planning upcoming events so that we can start the season off right!
N & N has several new additions to the board this year, and we thank them for stepping up to keep this amazing organization running. There are still some open positions on the board and would love to see them filled including Vice President, Website, Publicity/Community Outreach, Couples Night Out, and Family Events Coordinator. The best way to get to know your neighbors is to get involved in your community. What better way to do that then volunteer with Newcomers and Neighbors?  For more information on open positions, please contact me at
As usual, please keep an eye out for the emails and Evites from our event coordinators!
-Lindy Olds, President

Our October gathering is a book selection evening. Members will receive the entire list before our October 1st meeting, which is when we will vote on our choices for the year. We also arrange hosts for our discussions at that time.

Moms & Tots is looking forward to another fun year. Kelly Michaud and Laura Chabot will again be organizing weekly events for Moms & Tots. Keep an eye out for Evite emails

WANTED: Publicity/Community Outreach Chair(s)
The Club is currently looking for a motivated, outgoing member(s) to chair (or co-chair) our Publicity & Community Outreach Committee. This is a great way to support local businesses and get the word out about our Club!  In the past we have done this by sponsoring/creating a club team in local walks/races such as The Trot For Special Tots,  The Krit Classic, and Step-Up For Colleen. We created a Moms and Tots Scarecrow through ACE, had a booth at Andover Day, donated food to Neighbors in Need, collected presents for Project Bethlehem through Lazarus House and collected toys for the Community Giving Tree. We have passed out our
N & N postcards to local Realtors and businesses. We've hung flyers at local businesses with N &N information (if you go to Starbucks often, this one would be easy!).
All of this is crucial to keeping our club up and running and all that we want it to be!
Does this role interest you? Do you have a friend that you would like to co-chair this with?
If so, please contact me at
Is coordinating events more your style? Are you a web designer? We need you too! Check out more opportunities on our website.
