D&K Europe Ltd chose The Print Show for the first worldwide showing of its fully automated Triton B1 Landscape (1050mm x 1050mm) laminator and have hailed it as a huge success, drawing attention from both printers and finishers alike.
Supplied as standard with a pallet loading high pile feeder with floating table to make pile alignment simple and easy it was shown at The Print Show with an optional Stacker for pallet to pallet operation. During the show it ran regularly at its maximum speed of 40m/minute which would laminate almost 3,500 B1 sheets per hour.
The B1+ Triton models are available in both portrait and landscape fed versions and either single or double-sided. The double-sided model, Triton PB, has been well proven since the concept launch in the award winning Europa B2 version. The PB has two laminating stations, each with a heated chrome roller and rubber nip roller to give the same high quality finish to both sides of the sheet without the normal loss of speed associated with traditional double-sided models.
Features include PLC control with touch screen operation, a floating feed table to allow easy pile adjustment and a cantilevered air shaft mandrel for faster film roll changes.
