Tips to Help You Choose the Right Packaging Size
Whether you’re shipping one package a day or hundreds, finding the right fit for your packaging can reduce costs and offer more protection for your products. Companies ― maybe even your own ― often use boxes that aren’t the right fit for the items being shipped. And to keep the item in place, they use a whole lot of paper or other material to fill in the extra space. While this may be necessary to protect fragile items, nonessential additional packaging can cause cost you big.

OHIO BUSINESSES’ MEDICAL MARIJUANA DECISION IMPACTED BY OUTSIDE FORCES
Ohio’s deadline for having its medical marijuana system up and running is September 8, 2018. Before this date, employers need to determine and declare where their company stands in relation to allowing employees to use marijuana as medicine.* Ohio employers may choose to prohibit or accommodate employee use. And though challenging, there will be some workplaces that will blend their approach by need (e.g., Department of Transportation requirements [DOT]) or choice.

Some states are silent about employment practices as they relate to medical marijuana. Other states have definite employment restrictions severely limiting employers. Ohio has addressed the employment issue in their bill and the good news is that Ohio House Bill 523 – legalizing the use of marijuana as medicine – provides Ohio employers with flexibility.

Maximize Your Intern & Entry Talent ROI
Learn How to Develop a World-Class Program
ABOUT THIS PROGRAM
More and more employers are struggling to find the right people to join their team. And the pain is increasingly acute as baby boomers retire and young, college-educated people don't necessarily see Northeast Ohio as their post-college destination. Further, finding workers with the same experience as retiring baby boomers is virtually impossible. The talent gap can be avoided if employers focus on filling their pipeline – finding the right workers and developing them as needed. A formal internship program is the best incubator of talent for your future workforce and a key retention strategy that will also help you to gain a competitive recruiting edge.

100 WAYS TO CUT 100 CALORIES
FROM OUR CHAMBER PARTNER ANTHEM BLUE CROSS BLUE SHIELD
Maintaining a healthy weight depends on achieving energy balance. This is accomplished by balancing the amount of energy burned and food consumed each day. To stop weight gain, most Americans need to do just two simple things:
·     Add 2000 more steps each day
·     Eat 100 fewer calories daily

Small changes in the types of foods you eat and in the portion sizes you choose will quickly add up to 100 reduced calories, or even more! By pledging to walk an extra mile (equivalent to approximately 2000 steps) and reduce 100 calories (equivalent to 1 pat of butter) you'll see how easy it can be to achieve energy balance.
