Fall is setting in on the farm, and that means welcoming new Farm and Education interns! We are happy to welcome Eli C., Elysse, Natasha, Eli M., and Clare to the Frogtown Farm team.
We have just two Community Farm Nights left this season! Our Tuesday evening Community Farm nights are a fun way to get involved on the farm. Neighbors who attend Community Farm Night on Tuesday, October 2nd from 5-7:00pm will be mulching beds and taking on other tasks to help put the farm to bed for winter. On Tuesday, October 9th, we will be hosting an end of season potluck!

We continue to harvest crops and distribute produce through Feeding Frogtown on Friday afternoons and at our Market Saturday events each weekend. Our farmstand produce is accessible to all with "pay-as-you-can" pricing. We also accept EBT, offer double market bucks, and have free PoP tokens for kids to do their own shopping.
It is an abundant time on our farm as we're in the middle of harvesting and also beginning to cover crop our fields to protect them over winter. This week, we are planting garlic on the farm. Garlic is unique in that it is planted in the fall, instead of in the spring like most other crops!
