, Kenya, shares they are experiencing more rain than normal with flooding in some regions of the country, and farmers are worried about losing crops due to too much damp and rot. There is worry the ministry may lose part of the crop due to the extreme rain, and this would make it difficult to have enough to feed the students in next year's program.
, Clinton, Tenn., has been recently hospitalized. She is the mother of Ken Booker Langston, the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) representative to the Alliance board of directors. Ken requests prayers that she continues to recover.
, Mesquite, Nevada who died August 22. She is the mother of Tom Beers, co-pastor of Alliance congregational partner Central Baptist Church, Wayne, Penn.
, Kettering, Ohio, as he recovers from hip replacement surgery. Brian has served as a volunteer at numerous annual gatherings. At the 2018 annual gathering, he was serving as administrative assistant for Harmony Creek Church.

Milton Arnesen, Sterling, Va., father of Kristy Arnesen Pullen, Alliance website specialist, as he recovers in rehab from a fall. At 95, his body is weak, but he very much wants to return to his apartment.
