In addition to fuel, food, water, animal feed, medical supplies, etc., we also need to prepare our property. With Hurricane season upon us and Dorian on the way with some windy and wet conditions, please secure or bring inside outdoor items. Don't forget trash cans, recycling bins, grills, toys, and potted plats. Keep them from becoming dangerous flying objects and from becoming litter, marine debris, and sources of water contamination! Do so around your business, neighborhood, and for friends/family/neighbors that may be unable to do so themselves.
More tips from NOAA
here.
Take care everyone!

Waste Watchers Leadership Needed!
Please "
look in your heart and see if you have a few hours a month to help out. And remember; people who are part of a group live longer, happier lives. Honest! Numerous studies have shown that to be true. So let us help you to live a better life by accepting a leadership role with us!
"
We are looking for a new Treasurer, Litter Survey Coordinator, and soon a Vice President.
