"Accessing Our Courage and Freedom"

In June, I left South Florida to drive to Seattle and back. (I had promised my sister, I would finish up the last part of closing my Mother’s estate and having my own car was essential.) As I excitedly shared plans of my upcoming adventure, the favorite response seemed to be, “You’re not driving by yourself, are you?”  Yes, I answered, not deterred by their apparent fear.

To report, in a nutshell, the adventure was fabulous. I saw old friends, met new friends, attended a conference at Mt. Shasta, met Pamela Eakins in Half Moon Bay, CA. (author of Kabbalah and Tarot of the Spirit, and runs the Pacific Mystery School) and enjoyed the peacefulness and solitude on the Olympia Peninsula—celebrated my birthday on the top of Hurricane Ridge, won a "Frying Pan Throwing" contest-- who knew- -and, then camped most of the way home with a friend from the Pineal Tone choir.

Those are just the major highlights and memories contained within the 10,000+ miles on the road; something that could have never happened, if I had said no.

But this story begins way before my 2019 road trip—in fact, many years ago and my choice to let my fear or my courage dictate my desire.

My ex-husband was doing his oncology rotation at the University of Minnesota in February, 1990. My boys were two and five years old at the time. He was to be gone for two months, and so I decided to visit with the kids for a week. Two months was too long for the boys to not see their father, I reasoned, when options existed. I planned my trip, the route I would take, and my overnight stops. (Remember, no GPS and the cell phones that even existed were very expensive and few and far between.)

The car was packed, the kids in their car seats—a basket of toys between them in the back seat—snacks in another basket in the front. Maps beside me. Everything was loaded, and as I put the car in “D”—I welled up with fear. It surprised me. I took a deep breath, and looked at the front door, assuring myself that I was capable, and we were safe, pulling my Toyota Land Cruiser, out from the parking spot on the street in front of our home at Ft. Bliss, in El Paso, Texas. We were on our way. I never looked back.

Whoever we are, and wherever we live, we are always faced with choices that test our resolve, courage, determination and freedom. It’s really a state of mind. Our circumstances and life choices are all different. We are always able to make a new choice in the moment—and just because we made a different choice last week, last year or five years ago, we can “renegotiate” with new found wisdom and belief that we are safe and always protected. That perhaps, as we co-create our life and our reality that sometimes we are being pushed and nudged in ways that support our growth and expansion.

Synchronicity and harmony guided the entire summer escapade. I felt like my entire invisible entourage and the Star Mothers were with me the whole time. I never felt unsafe, lost or abandon. It gave me freedom and a sense of empowerment from within. What would you like to do in your life to empower yourself? What’s stopping you from living your dream and the best you— you can be?

If you are feeling stuck—and need to encourage yourself here are some simple things to think about:

  • Reflect on what scares you about the situation you are facing.
  • Stand back, and take a new vantage point and perspective on your fear.
  • Be strong, mindful and determined. Stay focused on your goal.
  • Set your intention and know that you are always supported in Love. Co-create that experience knowing that you are Loved by the Universe beyond measure.
  • If you need help, pick a friend or therapist to help you succeed.

Start by doing what’s necessary; then do what’s possible; and suddenly you are doing the impossible.” ~Francis of Assisi

What Does this mean? Decoding 101
Decoding messages from us to us is something that is coming to light and seeing its way into the mainstream--slowly. There is a connection between our physical health challenges and our mind and spirit. We cannot ignore those other parts of ourselves. We are emotional spiritual multidimensional humans. And, these physical dis-eases indicate we are "out of balance," something is "off kilter." Dis-ease alerts us that there are deep unresolved emotional blocks holding emotional angst at some level. Are we the brave ones to step up to heal our lineage? What was the emotional trauma we experienced as a child? What was so terrible, we have simply blocked it out? The conscious mind likes to ignore and repress that shadow that lurks within. However, our smart body, our innate, and intuition part of the subconscious and cellular memory remembers everything. In 2019, we will explore, just briefly the most common imbalances lying below the surface--a gift waiting to be seen and healed--for good! ❤️

In Short - "Shoulders" (in general) - J. Martel

The shoulders represent my capacity to bear a load. My shoulders carry my joys, my sorrows, my responsibility and my insecurities.  They refer to the burden of my actions or of those I wish to undertake.

They refer to the burden of my action or of those I wish to undertake. As any other person, I am not exempt from carrying a burden.  If I make myself responsible for the happiness and well-being of others, I then increase the weight I carry and my shoulders will hurt.

I feel that I have too much to do and I am never able to get everything done. I may also have the impression that people are imposing things on me or preventing me from acting, either because of different opinions or they simply don’t want to assist and support me in my projects.

Sacred Geometry Oracle Deck
~ 43~

The six-sided geometry of the hexagon speaks of structure ~function~ order. We find it in the beauty of crystals, the perfection of snowflakes, and the symmetry of beehives.
Beauty surrounds you. This card suggests that you focus on that beauty and seek ways to bring it more consciously into your life. Most lives are filled and overflowing with places to go, people to see. Sometimes in our busyness we forget to notice the beauty that surrounds us everywhere on the planet.

Perhaps a walk in the woods is in order. Move deliberately, allowing all your senses to become aware of the perfection that surrounds you in nature. Listen to the birds . . . smell the scents of the forest. This may be the perfect day to gather your family for a visit to the art museum. Perhaps you will want to stop ant the florist and bring flowers home to cheer and calm the air. Purchase a crystal and place it where you will notice it every day to remind you, in your fast-paced life, to take time to appreciate its beauty and perfection. Walk in beauty.
Sacred geometry is the key that unlocks all of the world's art, science and architecture. Called the Language of Light, its images and shapes are embedded in DNA, mandalas, pyramids, crystals, atoms and hieroglyphs. Anyone who has ever gazed at a spider's web, meditated on a mandala or yantra, visited a pyramid, walked a labyrinth, or peered through a microscope has felt the effects of sacred geometry. These cards and text were created by Francene Hart.

Recipe of the Month: from the high planes of South America: Quinoa

Bon Appetite!

Toasted Quinoa with Almonds & Cranberries

With not a lot in my refrigerator after being gone two months--I was delighted to see Quinoa waiting to be cooked. Even better, I had all of the ingredients for this quick side dish--which happens to be nutritious and delicious! Ready to serve in about 15 minutes and the perfect alternative to rice or pasta; mild and nutty. Another benefit is it is a complete and ancient protein with all eight amino acids.

What you will need:

1 cup quinoa
1/2 cup slivered almonds
1 1/2 cups boiling water
1/2 tsp. salt
1 cinnamon stick or 1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 cup cranberries or tart dried cherries

Step 1 - Over medium heat stir and toast slivered almonds until golden.

Step 2 - Add quinoa and toast a few more minutes until it begins to darken.
Step 3 - Transfer to a 2 qt. saucepan and add the remaining ingredients.
Step 4 - Bring to a boil, covered, then reduce heat to simmer for 15 to 20 minutes.

Step 5 - Remove from heat, and allow to sit for about 5 minutes. Fluff with a fork and serve. Enjoy!🍃

Cooking should be creative and fun. These are the basics--you are the culinary artist. What will your masterpiece be tonight? Whatever, enjoy the process. I have confidence that your results will be most deliciously satisfying!

Biological Decoding Here Today
Conflicts and trauma are sometimes obvious and sometimes not and make their presence known to us as dis-ease and imbalance in our lives; manifesting in our body.  Weight issues or acne are obvious to most, but what are the traumas, loyalties and imbalances locked away in diabetes, heart disease, cancer, or behind simple allergies and minor illnesses given labels or the diagnosis's we receive at the doctor's office? Do you want healing or just relief?

The premise is easy. Disease and sicknesses are "nothing more" than emotional conflict(s) or trauma, --lessons to learn (that may be passed down from our ancestors) running in an "invisible" field of energy unknown or unrealized to us until it emerges as our brain's (the ultimate computer) solution for the disturbance deep within our psyche. More simply, the first law of Biological Decoding states: "Every pain or disease originates from a conflict. The conflict is an unexpected, highly acute, and isolating shock that occurs simultaneously in the PSYCHE, the BRAIN, and part of the BODY that corresponds to the type of conflict. Discovering the conflict aids the brain in sending messages to repair the body".

If we are human, we all have unresolved emotional conflicts. Heal them for yourselves--heal them for your kids and break the pattern. Biological Decoding goes hand-in-hand with our allopathic medicine today which addresses the mechanical aspects of our disease.

How can I help you today?

The Biology of Decoding is an amazing tool to assist in the discovery of the root cause of dis-ease.  This discovery and decoding opens the door to healing, deepens spiritual understanding of who we are and releases limiting beliefs and patterns.

"If the mind doth bend, disease can end."
