Message from the vtTA

The vtTA is partnering with BRIC to introduce tech and other business leaders and representatives to this tech-focused center in a remodeled school building in Springfield. The campus is focused on computer science and digital training for residents and students, helping start-up tech firms, and providing space for remote tech workers. We look forward to seeing old and new friends in southern Vermont, but also hope some in Chittenden County can make the trek south. We are looking at van and/or carpool options to help make it happen, so let us know if interested .
The Vermont Technology Alliance is inviting nominations for the 2019 Vermont Tech Jam Awards. These annual awards recognize outstanding businesses, organizations and individuals who are making an impact on Vermont's tech landscape. We've changed the award categories to create opportunities for recognition of a broad range of businesses and individuals.
Nominations are being accepted in three categories: Tech Business of the Year, Emerging Tech Business Award and Tech Champion Award. What Vermont tech business stands out? What new or growing business is making its mark in Vermont's tech scene?  Who is a leading champion of Vermont's tech ecosystem? This is your chance to help them get recognized.
Nominations can be submitted through Sept. 28, so submit your nominations now . The awards will be presented at the 2019 Vermont Tech Jam on Oct. 17.
With the arrival of fall comes a number of events for and of interest to the tech community. Check them out in our listing below and regularly on our events calendar.
