Recap and What's Coming
As our summer months come to an end, we'd like to provide a brief recap of what occurred in the month of August. In August we honored our graduates at the College Send off Mass. We congratulated our students who are moving on to college and begin a new chapter in their lives. We also celebrated the feast day of our Patron Saint - Saint Bartholomew by celebrating a Mass and potluck reception. This was a great way to provide fellowship for parishioners and get together as a Parish Community.

Here's what to look forward to! As our students head back to school, we will begin Faith Formation and Youth Group Meetings on September 17th and 18th! We are excited to have our new and returning students attending our classes and meetings. We will also have our Second Annual Family Parish Picnic. This is a great way to meet new members in our community and connect on a new level. We are excited to begin the new school year! In addition to our Faith Formation events, the Women's Guild will be having their Annual Membership Tea . More details listed below on what to look forward to this month!

the more he dies to himself, the more he will live to God."

A prayer for the Feast Day of St. Mother Teresa of Calcutta

O God, who called blessed Teresa, virgin to respond to the love of your Son thirsting on the cross with outstanding charity to the poorest of the poor, grant us, we beseech you, by her intercession, to minister to Christ in our suffering brothers. Who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever.

AMEN
