Find It. Be it. Campaign Update
How Modesto Turned 15% of Campaign Leads to Applicants
The Find It. Be It. campaign delivered more than 67 student leads to Modesto Junior College. Ryan Amaral, program specialist with Strong Workforce programs, didn’t waste any time turning 15% of the prospects into applicants to his college.
Quick follow-up + helpful information
The B2B Engage system alerted Amaral via email every time someone submitted an interest form through the FindItBeIt.org website, in cases where prospects had selected Modesto Junior College. Since the form included an email address, Amaral had what he needed to help move the would-be student closer to the MJC application. Within 48 hours, he emailed the prospect information about the area of interest they cited on the form, as well as general information about the college.

He also invited them to email him back with any questions, setting himself up as the central point of contact. When necessary, he connected prospective students with other people at the college who could answer their questions.

“I think it was easiest to have a singular point of contact at the beginning, and then, as their needs expanded, to be able to provide additional resources,” Amaral said.

Congratulations Ryan for getting solid ROI out of your campaign leads!

Teacher Prep Pipeline/ Education Futures
Update from TPP Lead, Giselle Simons:

Over the last few months, I have conducted teacher preparation program (TPP) campus visits within the Central Valley Mother Lode Region. I would like to thank Fresno City College, Clovis Community College, San Joaquin Delta College, Columbia College, Porterville College, and Bakersfield College for welcoming me to their campuses and allowing me the opportunity to learn about their TPP development along with the best practices! I will continue to work my way to other colleges throughout summer and in fall! Please feel free to send me any updates, articles, or best practices that you have adopted so I can share them within our region and across the state! Also, let me know if there are any updates to point of contacts for this distribution!

Nora Seronello with the Centers of Excellence will be creating a regional TPP sector brochure that includes local labor market and contact information! More information to come!
