Monthly Parent & Student Newsletter
Curriculum Night & Parent Info Sessions
Wednesday, September 4, 2019
All parents will have an opportunity to visit their daughter's classes from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Schedule worksheets were distributed to students on Tuesday, September 3 with a map on the back-side. Please ask your student for her completed schedule worksheet. Parents can also find their daughter's schedule in Parent Connect under the Schedule tab.
Please arrive early enough to park and find your daughter's first period class before the scheduled walk-through begins. Refreshments will be provided by the Resurrection Parents Club.
Parents, be sure your student has passed this along to you!
Did you know that Resurrection tuition
only covers about 76% of our educational costs?
While we operate as lean as possible in order to keep tuition affordable,
the gap between tuition and the actual cost is about $3,900 per student.
EVERY student benefits from this subsidy. Fundraisers help us fill that gap and allow us to expand school programs, assist with upgrades and fund scholarships.
That is why we encourage you to participate in our fundraisers.
A few things to note:
- The Cash Raffle is the only mandatory fundraiser and you may begin selling tickets now! The drawings will be held on September 23, November 1 and December 12. You may turn in SOLD ticket stubs with corresponding payment to the Main Office as you sell them. Tickets are returned to the drum after each drawing for another chance to win. The earlier you return SOLD ticket stubs, the more chances to win!
- Grandparents Night is September 11 and reservations are due by September 6. Parents or grandparents can p
as a daily reminder to your Res student of your ongoing love and support.
- Walk-A-Thon donations can be made online.
Students received an email to their Res email address with a template that they can use to send a message to family and friends to encourage their participation.
A copy of the template that students received can be found HERE.
