Dear Alumni,
It brings me great pleasure to write to you today as we enjoy the beginning of fall and the start of a new academic year at the College of Our Lady of the Elms. Indeed this school year has started like no other, but in true Elms fashion, our community has rallied around our students to ensure their success. As we prepare to complete our first full month of learning on campus, I would like to highlight a few campus updates to help ensure the safety and success of our students and entire campus community.
In an effort to maintain a safe and consistent learning environment for our students, I thank all alumni and friends for your patience and understanding as we continue to limit outside visitors to campus. Although we are saddened by the impact this policy has on alumni programs and daily Masses on campus, we remain committed to developing programming to engage alumni with the college. We will also be continuing our weekly streaming Mass until on-campus services can safely resume.
Despite these many changes, please know that our institutional advancement team is present and available for you. If you have any questions related to current policies or alumni affairs in general, please do not hesitate to contact Andrea Holden, Director of Alumni Relations, or myself. Our contact information can be found below.
During these uncertain times, it brings me a great sense of pride thinking about how strong Elms College has remained in the face of the present adversity. Wishing you and yours blessings of wellness and safety.
Sincerely,
Bernadette Nowakowski ’89 ‘08
