Professional Development Providers Institute
Course participants meet online each Wednesday from 5:30 – 6:30 pm ET, September 30 - November 4. Independent learning activities between sessions include readings, videos, online text discussions, reflections, and peer feedback. The final project is a TPS PD Activity Plan.

KidCitizen Invites Teachers and Consortium Members to Enter Contest on Network
We have been having such a wonderful time designing and developing KidCitizen episodes! Our
greatest thrill comes when we talk to teachers and students about how KidCitizen is used to enhance teaching and learning. KidCitizen is played in all 50 states and Puerto Rico, and we have a couple exciting new episodes on the way. We even have a few of our original episodes being translated into Spanish as part of our partnership with Universidad de Puerto Rico Recinto de Rio Piedras.

While we have been having all the fun selecting great primary sources from the Library of Congress to use as the centerpiece for each KidCitizen episode, we wanted to introduce a new contest that will allow members of the TPS Teachers Network to suggest primary sources to be used in the next two KidCitizen episodes.
