Summer Reading Recap
The strangest, most remote summer reading program has drawn to a close. There were 506 eager, wonderful participants (children, teen & adult) who were awarded an array of gift certificates to local eateries plus Art Supplies Wholesale and The Bookshop of Beverly Farms. The 3 grand prize GoPro Hero 8s went to lucky readers, look for them to be the next YouTube sensations. A list of the prizes and winners is online, a hearty thanks to the Friends for funding all the awards.
We were shy of achieving the summer reading challenge of 500,000 minutes but that's OK, there's always next year. Readers logged a total of 367,500 minutes which is very respectable. Read on!
