September, 2020

Dear Chamber Members,

I cannot believe that summer is coming to an end! Many of you feel this as we get our kids ready to go back to school – either in person or virtually – it’s always a time for change. Before the summer’s end, though, I hope that you have an opportunity to enjoy some summer activities – an outdoor movie, a walk in the park, or an outside meal.

I personally stopped in at our “Grab and Go” Farmers market this week and picked up some veggies, honey and even a sweet treat for my 21-year-old son. I encourage you as well, to stop by the Twin City Plaza on Thursdays from 10am to 2pm in September and check out all of the goodies!

Other things to look forward to as the seasons change are our Annual Chamber Golf Outing, which we will pair with our Annual Meeting for a fun filled afternoon/early evening. Also, Celebrate Grafton's “Fall Into Grafton” event planned for Saturday, October 3rd, in downtown Grafton. These events are always a great time and I hear that there may be a new, fun activity during Fall into Grafton – keep an eye on the Chamber newsletters to hear more!

In the meantime, enjoy these warm days while they last and always keep CDC guidelines in mind when enjoying the activities around us.
