This honor is given to architects and firms for projects that demonstrate exemplary design skill of formal, functional and technical requirements.

  • The recent landmarking controversy in Berkeley exposed issues with the City’s approach to preservation. We'll look at the typo-morphological approach to heritage adopted by Italy and in North America to see what lessons may be learned from an alternative approach.
