Back To School (ish)
Back to School in 2020 is different for every district and certainly for every household.

What isn't different is the goal to keep our kids healthy and safe as they start a new school year.

A very important part of that healthy goal this year is mental health. Our kids are facing unprecedented challenges as are teachers, administrators, parents and guardians. It is important that we pay close attention to the emotional well being of everyone involved.

Priority: Safe Client Consultations
This year and always, the health, safety and peace of mind of our clients has been our top priority.

As we considered how to continue to provide the one on one consulting that our clients value, we had to get creative - so we now have a drive-up space at the side of our building - for easy access to a safe and clean meeting space for our clients.

This space is disinfected between client meetings and offers hand sanitizer and masks to those that need them. The desk has a plexiglass barrier and the meeting space prevents our clients from needing to walk through our office to the conference room, thus reducing exposure to our staff and other clients.

Monthly Tip!
Travel Medical Insurance is a must-have if you plan to leave the United States.

Check out this list of countries that require travelers to carry health insurance.

Spotlight: Flu Shots & Covid
Flu season will look different this year, as the country grapples with the pandemic.

Many Americans are reluctant to visit a doctor's office and public health officials worry people will shy away from being immunized.

Although sometimes incorrectly regarded as just another bad cold, flu also kills tens of thousands of people in the U.S. each year, with the very young, the elderly and those with underlying conditions the most vulnerable. When coupled with the effects of COVID-19, public health experts say it's more important than ever to get a flu shot.

Bonus: The flu shot is almost always covered by your health insurance.

Getting Ready
I can't believe we are headed into fall already!

Open enrollment is right around the corner - the busiest season for our office. Be sure to schedule with your Advisor early to secure your spot on our calendars. It's not just about your health insurance either - plan to discuss all of your coverage options to make sure everything is up to date. An annual review of all insurances is important and it's our job to help you secure coverage that fits your needs.
