Hello September!


Can you believe summer is almost over? The good news is that September beach weather is the best! Use our curbside pickup service to check out a great beach read!

For those of you who participated in our Summer Reading Program, prizes will be available for pick up on Tuesday, September 8th!

Curbside Pickup Details
  • Hours are Monday through Saturday 10 am – 1 pm
  • Patrons may call the library at 732-747-9649 to place holds for items or by using our online catalog
  • Holds are available for items owned by the Little Silver Library and the Monmouth County Library.
  • Patrons will receive a call when their item is available and will be held up to three days. 
  • Patrons are asked to call the library at 732-747-9649 to arrange for front table pickup.
  • All items must be returned in the bookdrop and shall be quarantined for 3 days for everyone’s safety.

Cinderella's Fairy Godmother
Premiere: Saturday, September 12, 10:00 am

This program combines history, improvisation, dance and music where audience members are cast right into the show! 

In "Cinderella's Fairy Godmother", Cinderella is about to marry the Prince, but her Fairy Godmother appears with a riddle to be solved first. Join in the hilarious search for the answer. 

Sing, dance, hide from the Giant and much more...

Join us for a fun filled Zoom music class with Music Play Patrol! This 30 minute class will have everyone moving and interacting during our virtual music storytelling class.

Local Author Interview

Children's Storytime and Craft
As always, we have lots of fun storytime activities for the kids from Ms. Danya, Ms. Robin and the Monmouth County Library. You can find them here!

Ms. Danya has created "Take and Make Craft" kits for our littlest patrons to enjoy! They are available on the curbside pickup table in the library vestibule! Available while supplies last!
Book Drop
Our book drop is open if you want to return your books! Please only drop off library books. We cannot accept book donations at this time!

If you need to access WiFi, feel free to use our patio!
