Slowly, slowly we go....
So, here it is September! After what has been both the quickest and slowest summer ever, depending on the day and mood.
It has been wonderful seeing so many of you over the past few months. Since we're transitioning into "knitting season", we're going to extend the shop hours just a bit, and see how that goes!

Please note:
We will continue with porch pickup! You can pick up purchases ANY TIME, once they're out on the rack! This has worked out very well and we will continue as long as you wish.
While it will be some time before we are comfortable with running classes, we are happy to schedule private knitting help! We're very flexible and can work with you to find a convenient time. Private knitting help is $10 for 15-30 min./ $20 per hour. You can either call the shop or email to set this up!
We've been busy at the shop, even though we're working shorter hours! There are lots of new shop models, and some new yarns have come in, with more on the way. We have all sorts of new ideas, whether you are making gifts or something special for yourself!
Below are a couple of baby sweaters that are hot off the needles!
The new Interweave Knits Gifts has just arrived. There are some lovely patterns perfect for gifting - or not! Come in- we'd love to see you!
The Fiber Festival of New England has officially been cancelled for 2020. We're hoping to think up something fun for that weekend here at the shop...stay tuned!

I'm always taking donations of any kind of yarn for the many knitters and groups that are knitting for those in need! Donations can be brought in any time or left on porch (please mark "donation"!)
Baby Vests by Knitting Pure & Simple. There is also a little classic V-neck version with buttons, that is great for the baby/toddler boys in your life. This version is a top-down. The V-neck version is bottom up, but still one-piece with no seams. Can't go wrong, there!
New Baby Cardigan - by Marji LaFreniere. This is a perfect baby shower gift. Sized to fit newborn thru 3 months or more. A quick single-skein project. Pattern is going through a re-write (after about 20 years!) and will be in the shop and up on Ravelry within the week.
