Mfg’s Association - Strategies for Responding to Supply Chain Challenges Mfg Business Outlook Survey: continued expansion for the region’s manufacturing sector with increases in new orders and employment. The future indexes moderated this month but continue to suggest expected growth over the next six months. U.S. business equipment spending strong even as new orders flat in July: Slowdown reflected supply chain bottlenecks. Decreases in orders for computers and electronic products were due to ongoing semiconductor shortages. U.S. GDP rose 6.5% last quarter, well below expectations Made in China’ products are running into new logistics problems

RG Group, a York-based industrial firm with expertise in robotics and automation is working with the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Department of Defense to create a smart prototype warehouse that will use 5G technology to provide secure, efficient, and cost-effective movement of essential supplies!
