Ribbon Cutting
Great Lakes Recovery- Men's Center
|
Recently the Great Lakes Recovery Center- Men's New Hope facility along with Chamber Ambassadors, Chamber Board of Directors, city dignitaries and many more community leaders held a grand opening and Ribbon Cutting at the Recovery Center's new location 1416 West Easterday Ave. in Sault Ste Marie, MI. The new facility houses 17 beds for men struggling with addiction. Thank you for including the Sault Area Chamber of Commerce in assisting with the Ribbon Cutting and Congratulations on a wonderful new facility.
Our community is very fortunate to have such a wonderful place.

On Thursday September 16th Business After 5 was hosted at Mid American Title Co. located at 1901 Ashmun Street. Guests enjoyed a spread of delicious appetizers and drinks while enjoying the recently remodeled office and networking with fellow business professionals in the community. Thank you again for hosting Mid American Title, it was great to be back at Business After 5 again! |

7th Annual Battle of the Breweries for Hospice of the EUP announced at The Wicked Sister A great evening of food, fun and beer to support Hospice of the EUP |
Sault Ste. Marie, MI: The Wicked Sister is excited to host its 7th Annual Battle of the Breweries for Hospice of the EUP on Monday October 11, 2021. This year’s Battle of the Breweries will be hosted at The Wicked Sister (716 Ashmun St.) and will feature a reunion between reigning champion, Ore Dock Brewing Co. and returning contender, Big Lake Brewing Co. Just like in years’ past, the event will feature a four-coursed dinner paired with exceptional beers from two breweries. Tickets are currently available at The Wicked Sister for $50 each. Doors open at 5pm for complimentary snacks and a cash bar with the event beginning at 6pm. Courses are paired with one beer from each brewery; guests are encouraged to vote on their favorite beer following each course so that the victorious brewery is crowned by the end of the event. Battle of the Breweries for Hospice of the EUP sells out each year so it’s important to purchase tickets early. This year’s Battle of the Breweries is following the reunion theme announced by Dancing with the Stars. Each course was crafted to honor a dish from previous years’ menus. The 2021 menu includes Jalapeno Popper Potato Skins, Citrus Salad, Bourbon-Soaked Mushrooms & Orecchiette and Pumpkin Churros. Beer offerings from Ore Dock and Big Lake have yet to be announced. Battle of the Breweries for Hospice of the EUP would not be possible without the immense community support! Each year we are so fortunate to have a team of volunteers, both Wicked Sister crew & local citizens, who take time to help orchestrate such a rewarding event. Tim & Lindsay Ellis of Eagle Radio 95.1 are, once again, volunteering their time to MC the night and take charge of the live auction. Most importantly, 100% of proceeds will go directly to Hospice of the EUP. |
