Dear MMAMTA members,

I hope everyone is staying healthy and having a great transition into the beginning of Fall semester!

I’m very excited for all the upcoming performances and for a very productive school year filled with music!

If you are planning on registering for MTNA, don’t miss the deadline: Wednesday, September 15 at 3pm. Eastern Time.

MOSY has now three student orchestras, and rehearsals will start on September 11^th.

Columbia is also gaining another student orchestra: The Missouri Academy of Music, which will meet on Tuesday evenings and will start rehearsing on September 14^th.

Below I’m adding the upcoming recitals at Mizzou. I’m honored that Peter Miyamoto will be performing on the day of my birthday!

09/20 – Dan Willett, oboe; Natalia Bolshakova, piano at Sinquefield Music Center, Room: 132

09/26 – Iskander Akhmadullin, trumpet and Natalia Bolshakova, piano at Fine Arts Building, Room(s): Whitmore Recital Hall
