From the Principal
I am amazed daily by the hard work and dedication of the teachers at Sacred Heart, as well as the smiles, motivation, and energy of our students.
In the midst of a global pandemic, our school community is doing their part to make each and every student safe and provide them with the best opportunities to learn and grow. As a diocese, we started this school year with a 100% in-person model. As explained at the beginning of the school year, an asynchronous option is available for students who are in quarantine because of exposure, illness, or travel. This allows teachers to provide optimal instruction to students in the classroom while allowing students in quarantine to remain on track with their classes until they return to the building. Our hope is to minimize the amount of students in quarantine by distancing as much as possible within classrooms and wearing masks consistently and correctly. The diocese will revisit these policies and procedures monthly and adjust as needed.
I understand that families are concerned for their children's safety, as well as their social and academic well-being, and I am available to answer any questions or concerns you may have. Thank you for your continued patience, support, and prayers, especially to those students and families directly impacted by the virus.
Sincerely,
Erin Mascaro
Principal
