2021 CoC Program Competition

The annual HUD Continuum of Care (CoC) Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) competition is underway! Sacramento applicants are eligible for over $27.7 million in Tier 1 & 2 funding and an additional $1.4 million each for new projects under the Permanent Housing and Domestic Violence Bonus. The CoC Board will meet on October 29th to approve local competition results and all NOFO materials will be submitted to HUD by November 16th. Funding decisions from HUD are expected in early 2022.

CE & CESH Investments

In 2019, the California Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD) issued the California Emergency Solutions and Housing (CESH) 2019 fund, of which Sacramento Steps Forward as the Administrative Entity for the Sacramento City and County Continuum of Care was awarded $906,740. With work on local research, analysis, and recommendations now complete, read more on how we plan to implement this work with the CESH 2019 funds.
