Educate Youth Needs Funds Immediately
Educate Youth’s programming aims to increase the graduation rate in the 48197-48198 zip code and help students to develop a two year post graduation plan that is aligned with their passion and dreams. This has occurred through academic support in our H.O.P.E. (Having Opportunities for Positive Education) after-school and summer program for over 11 years. Educate Youth needs funds immediately for its program. Youth in our community need this support now, and the need is growing.
More recently, Educate Youth has begun offering art and music lessons to further ensure our students' success. The Americans for the Arts state that "students involved in art and music are twice as likely to graduate as opposed to students who do not have access to art and music education." Despite the countless benefits of arts enrichment in schools, many of those attended by our students do not offer art and/or music classes.
By providing art and music lessons to our students, Educate Youth is not only helping them to continue on their path to success, but also providing another tool to combat stress and other challenges. Watch our video below to see the ways your generosity support our students to learn, grow and thrive.
