September is wrapping up, fall weather is tantalizingly near, and my term as president has come to a close. Thank you for the opportunity to serve as your chapter president this year. I've enjoyed connecting with our membership, learning about current topics from our meeting speakers, and visiting new cities in the metroplex. Special thanks to my fellow officers Lindsay Wells, Alice Holloway, Art Camacho, and Shelley Scazzero who supported me and the chapter tremendously, and to our committee members and meeting hosts who make our chapter run.
I look forward to another great year with NTMCA and joining you all from the audience instead of the podium. The chapter is in excellent hands with new President Alice Holloway and the 2022-23 NTMCA Board.

Congratulations to the 2022-23 NTMCA Officers who were elected and took their oaths of office at the September 8 meeting in Azle:

With the resignation of Lindsay Wells who was elected president at the August 11 virtual meeting, the board prepared a new slate in accordance with the bylaws. Each officer advanced one position, and a new Historian was added to the slate.

Big thanks to Azle City Secretary Yael Forgey who hosted our meeting at beautiful Azle City Hall and was also our speaker! Yael spoke about Israel and her journey to the U.S. She shared lots of great facts and photos about Israel and fun stories about moving to the U.S. And, she had homemade Israeli baked goods for dessert - such a treat!
Special appreciation to Taylor Olson Adkins Sralla & Elam, LLP (TOASE) for providing the gift cards for door prizes.

Thanks to Jon Stigliano of Strategic Solutions Group who presented "Communication Behavior Styles: Developing Effective Relationships" at our August 11 meeting.
We had 40 attendees for this virtual event. The group followed the presentation with a good discussion and question and answer session. Click here to view his PowerPoint presentation.

Join us next month in Southlake as Kelly O'Brian, President of the ARMA Dallas Chapter, gives a presentation.
ARMA International is a not-for-profit professional association and community of records management, information management, and information governance professionals who harness the benefits and reduce the risks of information.
The Dallas Chapter of ARMA is organized to serve as an advocate for the Information Management community and as a vital resource for information management professionals and novice practitioners within the Dallas metropolitan areas.
