Don't Forget to Review Your SHIP Benefits!

SHIP 2023-24 coverage started on August 1.

If you’re new to campus, make sure to review the benefits and resources available to you under SHIP. Students with SHIP receive medical, counseling, and prescription coverage through Wellfleet Student, vision benefits through VSP, and dental benefits through MetLife. Wellfleet utilizes the Blue Shield of CA PPO provider network for services in California and Cigna PPO for services outside of California. Information about SHIP benefits and sample fees is available on our website. You can also access your benefits through the Wellfleet Student mobile app.

If you have any questions, you can contact the SHIP office via the eTang patient portal or by emailing ship@berkeley.edu.

And remember, all students have access to services at UHS regardless of insurance.
