Big Red Newsletter

September 2023

Pride of the Valley

Greetings, Parents and Families of Steubenville High School,

I am so proud of our students and staff! We’ve had a wonderful start to the 2023-2024 school year. I greatly appreciate all you’ve done to contribute to the positive and productive start. Our staff has worked very hard preparing for the opening of the school, and they have done an excellent job. Along the same lines, our students have done an outstanding job learning and meeting expectations while developing routines that can translate to a year of increased student achievement. To be sure, we are excited about the possibilities this year holds.

Dismissal

Our school day ends at 2:30 p.m. We encourage parents to pick up their child on Logan Street around 2:35 p.m. This gives your child enough time to go to their locker after school. If you arrive before your child is out of the building, we will ask you to drive around the loop. We have to keep the traffic flow moving smoothly at all times.

I will continue to send out reminders in the monthly school newsletter throughout the year. Please remember that my staff and I are here to serve our families and students. I am always available and look forward to building a solid relationship with you and your child. Please know that the faculty and staff at Steubenville High School are always here to help your child(ren) have the best possible experience.

We are humbled and grateful for the opportunity to educate your child(ren). It is truly an honor that we take very seriously.

Thank you for your constant support, and as always...GO BIG RED!

Sincerely,

Mr. Gorman
