The new season of Restoration Concerts begins on Sunday, September 24, 2023, at 4:00 p.m. with a piano and violin duo. Nathan Cole, violin and Cindy Lam, piano, will be performing Bach's C Major solo sonata, Clara Schumann's 3 Romances, Brahms' G Major Sonata, and Piazzolla Oblivion. Tickets will be available at the door for $25. The concert will be held in the beautiful historic Library Community Room at 1115 El Centro St. in South Pasadena.
In addition to tickets available for purchase at the door, season tickets are now on sale for $136 for 8 concerts. Purchasing the season saves concertgoers $64 over ticket prices at the door.
The Restoration Concerts Committee, a committee of the non-profit organization, The Friends of the South Pasadena Public Library, has a goal to bring world-class music at an affordable price to concertgoers in South Pasadena and surrounding communities. As the name suggests, net proceeds from the concerts provide for restorations, enhancements, and other benefits to the South Pasadena Library and Community Room.
