President's Note

Greetings Sorors of the Saint Louis Alumnae Chapter:

Greetings Sorors of the St. Louis Alumnae Chapter. This is always an exciting time of year as we prepare to welcome you to the new sorority year. The Fall Retreat is the kickoff for the 2023-2024 program year. Seeing everyone in their paraphernalia and socializing as sisters is heartwarming. The smiles, hugs and

warm greetings always reminds me of that “good ole Delta spirit”. While it’s a day of fun and activities, we also have an opportunity to renew our knowledge of our sorority practices. Sorors this event is not to be missed! The Fall Retreat is a great way to introduce a new soror to our chapter and show her some true Delta love. I look forward to seeing your smiling faces and kicking off the new sorority year in true Delta style.

Much sisterly love,

Bernadette White

2023 Urban League Expo

St. Louis Alumnae Chapter at the 2023 Urban League Expo

Saturday, August 5, 2023

Sorors served as volunteers on “Energy Row” for The Urban League of Metropolitan St. Louis 2023 Urban Expo! “Energy Row” is where clients seeking energy assistance are served. Sorors facilitated the completion of applications, helping clients understand what supporting documentation they need to receive assistance and how to submit applications for processing. Sorors are trained to answer questions and provide clients with information on valuable resources available to receive assistance with energy needs.

Volunteer assistance was also provided with preparing and distributing book bags, food service, and with other goods provided at “Urban League Way”. Each year the Urban League along with “Heat Up/Cool Down St. Louis”, have requested the assistance of the St. Louis Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.

Please see the note of thank you from the e Urban League Sr. Director of Energy Assistance:
