MTCF at Fun Before the Fourth

Lieutenant Janzer from the Thiensville Police Dept stopped by our MT Trails Foundation tent to thank the Mequon-Thiensville Community Foundation for their grant to purchase two E-Bikes for the Village of Thiensville Police Dept.

The Ebikes were already put to good use when the police department had to respond to calls during the Fun Before the Fourth which allowed the officers to more easily navigate the crowds due to the enhanced mobility the Ebikes could provide. It is especially gratifying knowing that the grants we provide make such a difference in the community.

A Night to Remember - Summer Evening Chef's Table

The Mequon-Thiensville Community Foundation hosted its inaugural Summer Evening Chef’s Table fundraiser at the Gathering on the Green grounds at Rotary Park on July 13, raising over $40,000 for the MT Trails Foundation’s Highland Road Bike and Pedestrian Path.

Featuring elite chefs from a wide variety of top-notch restaurants and local venues, attendees were able to savor exquisite flavors and pairings while basking in a picturesque outdoor setting, filled with lively music and a fun-filled atmosphere. An amazing time was had by one and all!

Exterior Renovations - Coming Soon!

MTCF awarded a $5,000 grant to the Jonathan Clark House to help fund needed exterior repairs and renovations. The work to be completed will ensure the ongoing safety and integrity of the structure while also making it more historically accurate. MTCF is proud to support this impressive 1848 landmark and help preserve a slice of history like none other found in our community.

Pillar Achievements

We are proud to announce that MTCF hit all three pillars this quarter!

This quarter, MTCF has demonstrated an impressive achievement by successfully aligning with and advancing all three of our fundamental pillars: Municipalities (Village Ebikes), Historical (JCH), and Parks/Rec (Bike Paths). This reflects our unwavering commitment to a diverse range of initiatives, each of which plays a pivotal role in our overarching mission to serve our community.

MTCF Sponsor: Taste of Mequon

MTCF was a proud sponsor of the Taste of Mequon which was held on September 9th.

MTCF helped out at the MT Trails Foundation tent.

It was a beautiful sunny day for the residents and families who stopped by our tent to learn more about the community bike trails. There was much excitement about this project, with $1,500 raised to support the MT Trails Foundation!

Apply for Grants - Deadline October 1st!

The Mequon-Thiensville Community Foundation has been generously providing funds for the betterment of Mequon and Thiensville since 1999. Over 1.05 million dollars have been granted so far to improve services and facilities, all without the need for tax increases.

Our foundation is committed to assisting other non-profit and community organizations as well. Therefore, if your organization falls under this category, we encourage you to apply for our assistance before October 1.
