Viva Southwest was a tremendous success with over 2,400 people in attendance and Ofrendas has grown into three schools along with 16 workshops across the city! Dia de los Muertos es una temporada muy especial donde nos abrimos a otro mundo lleno de sabiduria y amor ancestral. 

We could not do this without the legion of sponsors and volunteers who embody what it means to be #PoweredbyCommunidad!

¡Viva Mexico! Viva Southwest Mariachi Festival Honored Mexican Heritage with Celebration!

It was an unforgettable night honoring Mexican Independence Day with Mariachi Estelares, Sol de Mi Tierra and Flor de Toloache. Our hearts are filled after an evening that was a testament to the beauty of Mexican heritage.

Our friends at Casa Bonita extended a special invitation to the LCAC Team, All-State Mariachi Estelares and their families to dine and debut their musical excellence! Casa Bonita sponsored the custom moños and camisolas, adding an extra touch of style and elegance to their traje.

As their instruments rang across the plaza, it was impossible not to feel an immense amount of joy by the sight of families beaming with pride. The ensemble's exceptional talent and dedication is an inspiration to us all!

Ofrendas bridges the cultural arts and emotional wellness through the making of hand-made altar items. Workshops will be hosted across Adams, Arapahoe, Boulder, Broomfield, Denver, Douglas, and Jefferson counties.
