Meet Local Author John Waters | |

Longtime Little Silver resident John Waters will present his book "Aircraft Electronic Warfare: A Memoir by a Project Engineer," written about his experience working at Fort Monmouth.

Accompanied by his son, Retired U.S. Army colonel Jay Waters, John will discuss his special projects with the Joint Special Operations Command, the Space & Missile Systems Center, NASA, the Navy SEALs, Army Delta Force, and the Army Missile Command. Registration is not required. | |

Paul Zigo, history professor, author, military historian, founder and director of the WWII Era Studies Institute, returns to the library with a presentation on the Vietnam War.
This presentation will focus on how it all began.

French Lessons Continue Through September 18 | |

Nathalie Decker has returned to the library to teach beginning French.
No prior knowledge of the language is necessary. The last two classes will be held Monday, September 11 and 18 (there is no class on Labor Day, September 4).
No registration is required.

Mahjong lessons in the library were a huge hit, and we're pleased to share the news that ongoing lessons and games will be held at the Little Silver Woman's Club.
Join Mary Tokanos and other Mahjong enthusiasts on Thursdays, from 1:00 - 3:00 pm, starting September 7.

Make a N0-Sew Blanket for the SPCA | |

Be crafty, learn a new skill, do a good deed, and have fun!
We'll show you how to make a cozy, no-sew blanket that will be donated to the SPCA.
No experience is necessary, all supplies will be provided. Registration is required.

Join us every Tuesday for Storytime!
Our Baby and Toddler Storytime sessions will be held outside through October. Bring a blanket or towel to sit on. Storytime will move indoors for inclement weather.
Registration is not required for our weekly storytime, but is required for certain special events.

This beautiful book takes a creative look at fall leaves.
Little Silver Library has collaborated with Little Silver Recreation to bring another StoryWalk® book to our community.

The group's next meeting will be September 11 at 6:30 pm.
