It’s Time to Enroll for 2023-2024!
September 1st is the start of a new 4-H year!
On September 13th, leaders, volunteers and members can go to V2.4HOnline to enroll for the 2023-24 4-H year.
**Returning members, please re-enroll by October 31, 2023.
Reminder: If you have previously been in 4-H, please do not create a new account. If you can’t find your account contact the office and we will help you.
This is a great time to recruit new 4-H members. Stop in the Extension office to grab some Bowman County 4-H brochures. Let them know that town and country kids are perfect for 4-H! Make memories that last a lifetime!

Save the Date - Fling Thing
|
|
The 51st Annual Fling Thing is Sunday, November 5th, 2023.
This is a main fundraiser for the Bowman County 4-H and the 4-H also serves a meal.
If your club would like to sign up for Fling Thing set-up OR tear-down and receive $100 for club funds, let us know!

4-H Council Meeting
There will be a 4-H Council Meeting on Wednesday, September 7th, 5:30 p.m. at the Courthouse in the Dakota Room. Use door "H". All are welcome!
Officer elections will be held at this meeting.

Shooting Sports to begin!
|
Starting Wednesday, September 27, 2023 at 3:30 pm in the West Wing of the Four Seasons. Parents must attend the first meeting to complete paperwork and to go over some information from our leaders. We look forward to another great year!
Shooting Sports will meet every Wednesday from 3:30-5:00p. Will be starting with Archery on September 27th.

Lemmon's 81st Annual Jr. Livestock Show is scheduled for September 9, 2023!
Here is the schedule for show day.
6:30am - 8:00am Livestock Entry
7:00am - 8:00am Hogs, Sheep and Goats Weigh-In
8:00am - 8:30am Beef Weigh-In
8:45am Judges Meeting
9:00am Livestock Judging Begins

Foundation Female Program
|
Applications are being accepted for the Dakota Community Bank & Trust's Foundation Female Program. The winning recipient will be awarded with a 0% interest loan to purchase five bred heifers. Applicant must be youth currently enrolled in 7th or 8th grade. The deadline for applications is October13, 2023. Application and more information is available here or at the Extension office.
