No Health Screening & No Masks

Dear SPOTLIGHT Members & Guests,

As Senior Healthcare Professionals serving seniors, it’s easy for them to

focus on the negative aspects of growing old. Their vision deteriorates,

joint pain occurs more frequently, and things don’t taste the same as they used to. However, many good things come with age, such as mature perspectives, confidence, and grandkids. And that focus is precisely

what Healthy Aging Month revolves around.

During Healthy Aging Month, you can raise awareness about how adults 55 and older can live healthier, happier lives. In addition, there are many educational events and senior health fair expos where older adults can learn to improve their physical, mental, social, and financial health. Now is the perfect opportunity for adults of any age to adopt healthier habits that set them up for healthy aging.

Join us for our September SPOTLIGHT Events! We have a wonderful lineup of speakers planned and a chance to win some awesome giveaways! We invite you to bring a gift card or give away to offer at the end of the meeting for an opportunity to take 1-2 minutes and share a little bit more about your company.

Remember to mark your calendars for the events you'd like to attend, and then RSVP as soon as possible. Most hosts are no longer requiring a health screening or masks anymore. RSVP to reserve your space as there are seating limits!!

Healthy Aging & Hunger Action Month

Health Aging! The good news -- Americans are living longer and living more active lifestyles. Here are some of the most important things you can do to stay healthy, active and independent through the years. No matter how old you are, it is never too late to begin taking care of yourself.

September is Healthy Aging Month, which was designated in order to focus national attention on the positive aspects of growing older.
