LifeSpan Network Annual Conference and Expo

Our COO, Maria Darby, recently attended the LifeSpan Network Annual Conference and Expo in Ocean City, Maryland.

LifeSpan Network, the largest senior care provider association in the Mid-Atlantic, represents over 400 organizations in Maryland and D.C., serving seniors across the continuum of care—ranging from independent and assisted living to nursing facilities and community-based programs. Maria attended the conference this year to share DWD’s mission and program through the impact experienced by its senior care facility partners. In addition, Maria encouraged those facilities, not yet engaged with DWD, to discuss how we might work together to increase the workforce pipeline for GNAs in their buildings.

Fun fact - Maria is a board member of the Beacon Institute of LifeSpan Network. If you’re interested in learning more about DWD and its partnership opportunities, please contact Maria at mdarby@dwyerworkforcedev.org.

We were proud to be the event’s beneficiary and were delighted to have our team members, Karen Evander and Michelle Boyle, representing DWD. Thank you to Ink & Numbers for a fantastic event, and we look forward to the next one!
