SALISBURY FAMILY SERVICE Connecticut Energy Assistance Available Fuel assistance applications are currently being taken for fuel deliveries made between November 1, 2024 and April 1, 2025. Households heating with electric and households with heat included in rent are also eligible to apply.


You may qualify for fuel assistance if your income is under -

(Household size/Annual Income):

2/$59,507, 3/$73,509, 4/$87,751

Those who participate in one or more of the following benefit programs will automatically be considered income eligible for energy assistance;

-Temporary Family Assistance (TFA)

-State supplement to the Aged, Blind, and Disabled

-Refugee cash assistance program

-Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP)

-Supplemental Security income (SSI)


SENIOR SERVICES

Senior Nutrition (Lunch) Program at the Senior Center


Lunches will be served at the Senior Center on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at 12:00pm. The suggested donation is $5.00 those 65 & up, $6.50 for those under 65.


Reservations are required at least 24-hours in advance.

Salisbury Senior Center Knitting & Crochet Club

WHERE: The Salisbury Senior Center at the Town Grove, 42 Ethan Allen St., Lakeville

WHEN: Mondays,1:00-3:00PM

WHO: Knitters And Crocheters Of All Levels Welcome. Beginners

Should Bring Size 8 Knitting Needles And Worsted Weight Yarn.

WHAT: Bring Project You Are Working On Or Start A New One. Coffee and Tea will be provided. Meet other seniors from the area.

Cost: This is a FREE program.

Adult ping pong will meet at the Senior Center on Wednesdays from 1:30-3:30pm

67th Annual Fall Festival on October 11th-13th  

The 67th Salisbury Fall Festival will be held October 11, 12, and 13, so mark your calendar for this special home-town celebration. Create a scarecrow...join the pet parade...and enjoy many fun-filled activities and events for the entire family. Returning are the popular magic shows, artisans, quilt show, hay rides, book sales, pumpkin painting, games and crafts, and the Brew-Ski Fest. New attractions include food trucks, popular bands, a dance performance, a repair cafe, and much more.  To participate in the festival or become a sponsor, email info@salisburyassociation.org or go to www.salisburyfallfestival.org.
