Message from Principal Simcik

Dear JPII Community,

Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year! We are thrilled to have kicked off our school year, welcoming three new teachers and 10 new students into our JPII family. This year, we've added an additional classroom, bringing our total to seven, which allows us to serve our students better and expand our programs.

Our journey began with a fun and rejuvenating back-to-school retreat for our staff, setting a positive tone for the exciting months ahead. We have so much to look forward to as we continue to grow and enrich our programs.

One of the highlights of the upcoming month is our "Meet the Teacher" night and uniform exchange on September 10. This event will be an excellent opportunity for our families to connect with our dedicated teachers, explore our classrooms, and ensure their students are prepared for success this school year.

We are also actively searching for Direct Service Professionals to join our adult program team. If you know someone who would be a great fit, please encourage them to apply and help us continue to provide exceptional care and support.

In addition, our Back-to-School Spirit Wear Sale is just around the corner! Spirit Wear is a fantastic way to show your JPII pride and bring our community even closer together.

I am honored to lead our center through another year of growth, learning, and community building. Your continued support means the world to us, and together, we will make JPII the best place it can be.

Warm regards,

Kaylee Simcik

We're over half way there! Help us raise ALL the dough for our 2024-2025 school year!

Nearly 65% of our students qualify for FREE or reduced lunches. ALL JPII students and adult participants enjoy FREE pizza every Friday!

Research shows that receiving free or reduced-price school lunches reduces food insecurity, obesity rates, and poor health. JPII's lunch program provides a healthy meal option for our students. Join us in supporting this important program.

You can provide a healthy lunch starting at just $12! Donate today!

Adult Program volunteers at local organizations

Our JPII Adult program has been actively volunteering at Helping Harvest, Meals on Wheels and the Food Pantry. Our adults enjoy getting out in the community and helping others in need - especially with food insecurity. Pictured above are Omar, Vince and Gina sorting donations at Helping Harvest.

Matching Gifts

You may be able to double your gift to JPII through your employer’s corporate matching gift program. If your company offers this benefit, you may be able to maximize personal contributions and increase the impact of your gift.

There is an understanding that giving is both a reflection of the best parts of who we are and the key to the most important work we will accomplish as neighbors and communities.

John Paul II Center is able to care for and teach our incredible students and adults because of the support we receive from our community. In an effort to make giving as secure and convenient as possible, we now provide a number of ways to help fund JPII’s mission. Simply choose which form of giving suits you best. And if you need assistance, remember, we're just a phone call away.
