Sooner Works and SPARK 360

Sooner Works Info Meetings

Can't attend the in-person Sooner Works College Preview Day? No problem! We will be hosting several virtual informational sessions on Zoom during the Fall 2024 semester. At these sessions, you will meet the Sooner Works program staff, learn about all the opportunities OU and Sooner Works have to offer, and hear from current students in Sooner Works.

SPARK 360

SPARK360 is a new Autism Support Program for college students at OU, which launched in Fall 2023, emphasizing support, partnership, advocacy, resources, and knowledge. The program provides full-circle support for participating students through academic planning, transition support, employment skills, independent living, and social development. 

Transition In Practice

Transition in Practice is an open-access, peer-reviewed journal that features research-to-practice information and materials for special educators/practitioners in transition and secondary education settings. Published bi-annually, the journal brings its readers the latest on research-based instructional strategies, technologies, procedures, and techniques to prepare special education teachers and students. Join us in shaping the future of special education transitions; we look forward to your contributions to this important field!
