Hey There!

It's been a while! If you've felt like your inbox has been missing something, or you were worried that you got left off of our email list, never fear! We're still here! There have been a lot of things going on here at PEEC, and while I've wanted to update you all constantly, it's been difficult to find the time. If I'm being honest, I think I bit off a bit too much when I aimed for a monthly newsletter. Moving forward, I'm hoping to keep updates seasonal, with the occasional extra email when we have something special going on. Thank you for sticking with us!

PEEC is honored to be one of three nominees for this fall's 100 Women Strong Mendocino Coast event! What does this mean? Great question! PEEC will get to give a speech alongside two other great local nonprofits, and have the chance to win $10,000!

During our spring season, PEEC decided to start some serious upgrade projects that we've been waiting for. We were able to add some great new cold storage with a commercial refrigerator, and we started the process of replacing old mattresses! While these are expensive projects, they are necessary for our program to continue to thrive! We are grateful to all our wonderful donors who support our program.

Do you need a cool shirt to wear while adventuring in the tide pools? How about a new sweatshirt to help you stay warm? A new sticker for your water bottle or laptop? When you donate to PEEC, you can now get a fun gift! Donations of $5 receive a PEEC logo sticker, donations of $25 receive a "Explore a Tidepool" shirt, and donations of $40 receive a PEEC logo sweatshirt!
